The Uniform

Today I wanted to share with you all my go to uniform when I’m not sure what to wear: all black with a few statement pieces. I know all black might seem cliche, but pairing different textures together for a monochromatic look can be incredibly chic. I also chose black pieces with a bit of interest. My tank is from H&M and has a completely sheer back, which gives the opportunity to show off a fun bralette. I also chose my Gap high rise jeans with ripped knees to play with proportions and show off a little skin at the knees. To punch it up, I like to add a statement bag or shoe. In this case I incorporated both. I’m absolutely in love with my new Rebecca Minkoff blue suade bag that I snagged in the Nordstrom abbiversary sale. I have also been loving my new silver reptile print Birks which I found at Nordstrom Rack for only $60. They look amazing together and are put on show with an all black base.

What has been your summer uniform? Let me know in the comments below!

WIWW: May 20th, 2015

Hello loves! Today I have another WIWW for you all, and it’s my last day of high school (besides exams.) As sentamental as this day is, I’m incredibly excited for what lays ahead of me, and super happy with this outfit!

My shirt is new, I just got it on sale at Loft. I’m wearing my trusty American Eagle jeans and sandals. I paired it win my staple Alex and Ani bracelets and my Fitbit-HR Charge. Have a fabulous day!

WIWW: March 18, 2015

Hello loves! Happy Wednesday! Today’s outfit is basically me being super cold, but also excited for spring… It’s a confusing time in the season. And I’m also leaving for vacation on Saturday, so I’ve already packed or set aside most of my more spring-like clothes.

My flannel is my absolute favorite from Gap, it’s slightly oversized and super warm, which is great for a cold morning. My jeans are my favorite Gap Jegging Jeans. I’m wearing my favorite stack of bracelets, plus my Fossil watch. And my shoes are my white converse, and we’re ignoring the fact that you can see my socks because I could not find my no-shows this morning. Hopefully you’re having better weather where you are! Have a fabulous day!

Hello loves! Welcome back to another What I Wore Wednesday! It is still frigid and I am not pleased, at all… So I decided to not let this frigid weather affect my outfit today, which I regretted almost immediately, but nonetheless, here’s my slightly less wintery outfit! Enjoy!

WIWW: February 18, 2015

Hello loves! Happy Wednesday! Today I’m bringing to you another installment of What I Wore Wednesday! Excuse the fact that I am once again wearing boots, I’m blaming it on the nation-wide polar vortex we’re having. And on that note, let’s jump into my outfit!

IMG_3423
Today I layered up in my herringbone vest and plaid shirt, both from J.Crew Factory. My black skinny jeans are from American Eagle. (My favorite black Gap jeans are in need of a dye job.) My booties are my favorite Dolce Vita gray and black ones. My watch is by Fossil and I paired it with my Michael Kors bangle. And lastly, my purse is from T.J.Maxx and is by Kelsi Dagger.
I hope you enjoyed today’s outfit, and hopefully it’ll inspire you this week! Also, this post is sort of a sneak peak into tomorrow. Any guesses? On that note, have a fabulous day and tune in again tomorrow!

WIWW: January 27th

Welcome to the second What I Wore Wednesday post! Today I decided to try out one of this winter’s most comfortable fashion trends: the cape. I really do love this trend! When done right, it looks incredibly fashion-forward and chic, but is also super practical for staying warm and comfortable in the cold winter months.

My cape is from Ann Taylor and is a wool blend with leather edging and pockets. (I just about died when I saw the pockets on this, one word: awesome.) I’m wearing a basic black tank, so I don’t die of heat stroke, from J.Crew. My jeans are my Gap Jegging Jeans, once again. Lastly, my boots are by Steve Madden.

My necklace is from Francesca’s Collection, it is by far my most worn statement necklace. My bracelets are (left to right) Pandora, a local boutique, Alex and Ani Energy, and Loft. My earrings are from TJMaxx, and my rings are from Banana Republic. (Banana has been having some great sales lately! Check them out!)

WIWW: January 14th

Hello friends! I hope you are having a fabulous day! Today is a historic day, because today I will be (attempting) to start a new hashtag. Is it daring? Yes. Is it fun? Yes. Should you take part in it? Most definitely. What I Wore Wednesday is a new series I’m starting as a little pick-me-up in the middle of your week, because let’s face it, Wednesday’s don’t have much going for them. This is your challenge to start putting together wonderful outfits on Wednesday’s and using the hashtag: #WIWW. Let’s begin with my very own, What I Wore Wednesday.

This Wednesday I wore this, might I say, killer outfit! Let’s break it down, shall we? My maroon blazer is a laid back fit from Loft. My animal print scarf is from Ann Taylor (and was a Christmas present from my wonderful mother.) My graphic T-shirt is from J.Crew, and is super soft! My jeans are, of course, the Gap jegging jeans, because they are the best jeans EVER. My black boots are from Steve Madden. And my jewelry is ALL from T.J.Maxx, because they have killer jewelry there. Seriously, go check it out. And that is What I Wore Wednesday. Show me what you wore using the hashtag #WIWW! I hope you have a fabulous day!!
